London Calling

A blog dedicated to my life, findings, and travels while I'm studying in the UK.

Weekend bike tour of London :3

This is the Eden Project. They have two biomes: Rainforest and Mediterranean. Let me tell you about how HOT it was in the dang rainforest. I thought I was going to die. Not really but I really wish that I was in there alone so that I could walk around naked and jump into that waterfall. The Mediterranean one was much more bearable. The plants were all so interesting and they had cherry blossoms <(:3) Those are my favorite. This crazy couple was going to get married in the rainforest biome last night. God bless that woman and her hair/makeup.

This was already on the beach when we got there. I liked it.

This past weekend, my Bio class went on a trip to Newquay and Cornwall to visit the Eden Project. The first day we had a 5 hour bus ride then free time. We went to the beach, ate fish and chips, and then went to the movies to see This Means War (I liked it a lot.)

I collected some beautiful rocks here <(:3)

Jess and I went to Laduree and had the yummiest macaroons :3 We also found the eggs that they have all of over the city. Different artists are decorating eggs for Easter and the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee.

Katie, Madiha, and I went to the Cotswolds last weekend. It was so cute and quaint. Very typically English and extremely beautiful.

We also went to Windsor last weekend. It was so beautiful and cute there. I loved it so much. Mariela introduced us to a group of her friends from school and it was so great.

Last weekend I went to Stratford-Upon-Avon and visited the birthplace of Shakespeare and the church he was buried at. That entire town revolves around his life basically. It was craziness. There wasn’t much else to do so we ate lots and bought too many souvenirs.

I went to a Rugby game two weekends ago. It was such a wonderful experience. Everyone was so into the game and the little kids were all so cute. It was this huge family event for a lot of people there. The players are all such badasses. My hat goes off to them.
